Open source does not mean "totally for free".

Liquifi is open source.  This means that we offer it at no licence cost.  No matter how many sites you set up or manage in it, you do not have to pay a licence fee.
However, we want to get paid for our work.   That's why we offer certain services under commercial terms.

Can third parties also offer services?

Yes, this will be possible in the future.   It is our clear vision that the more proliferation of Liquifi and its services, the better it is for Liquifi, for us and for the community as a whole.
However, we want the third parties only to offer services when our explicit permission is granted.  Our main concern is that we want to control the quality of Liquifi, its parts and the services offered.
